Students took the test for Chapter 1A.
Homework is to copy the vocabulary for chapter 1B into their notebooks.

2/7/17 Verb Categories

Today students took notes on 3 verb categories in the Spanish Language and practiced identifying them with the vocabulary. The information is also found on page 32 of the textbooks.

2/3/17 1A New Vocabulary Practice

Students worked on reading and speaking practice activities for the chapter 1A vocabulary list. We also started watching "Mi Vida Loca" Spanish tutorial episode 1. Absent students need to get a copy of the handout.

Homework: Study the chapter 1A vocabulary for Pre-Quiz on Monday.

2/2/2017 New Chapter

Students started Chapter 1A and took a test on the Preliminary Chapter we've been working on in the past week.

Homework: Copy the vocabulary list from the textbook for chapter 1A into notebooks (handwritten) or create handwritten flashcards.

2/1/17 Review

Students reviewed all material covered in class for test tomorrow. Students will be tested on:

• Greetings
• Numbers
• Classroom items
• Introductions
• Asking/answering how you are doing
• Dates and weather

Students who have not successfully earned 100% on their pronoun quiz must study and be prepared for a retake tomorrow. For the quiz, students must replicate the following chart by memory.

1/30/17 Practice and Telling time

Today students practiced talking about the weather and learned about Bull Running in Spain. Students also took their pronombres (pronouns) quiz, this can be made up in class. Students also started learning about telling time in Spanish.

Homework: Study numbers up to 60 using page 7 in the textbook.

1/27/17 Syllabus and Spanish Binder

Click here for the syllabus. Students can pick up copies of the signature page in the classroom.

For class, the material covered was words dealing with weather and notes on Spanish pronouns (pronombres). Make sure to copy notes from a classmate.

Instructions for class binder:

Students must have a Spanish Binder for Spanish class only. Students must also have notebooks or notebook paper for Spanish class. The binder must be organized with a section for:

1. Warm ups
2. Notes and vocab lists
3. Ungraded classwork/homework
4. graded classwork/homework
